Your 24 x 7 x 365 Salesperson
By Rob Ainbinder
A Web site is your 24 x 7 x 365 salesperson. Your site (it's design and content) says a lot about your company.
Let's go through a short check list of what this "virtual sales person" should have with them.
- A business card - huh? Yep, make sure your company name, address, phone and fax are on every page. (Ours is at the bottom of the page.) Also, include a contact form. Then, no matter how someone wants to contact you or on what page, they can.
- Portfolio or case studies - Pretty straight forward... Pick one or both to show what you can do and what you've done .
- Ask for action - If you want the prospect on your site to contact you, buy something, download a trial or demo - ask them.
- Company Profile - Provide those interested with access to your information (and pictures) of the principals in your company and any company news. This builds trust with the prospect and helps the prospect make an important "human" connection to your company.
