Ahh, Just in Time for the Holidays

Keep the Grinch out of your house and the kids out of the E.R. This year's list of dangerous toys is out.

Farewell, good bye, until we meet again

Dearest blog:
Last night after a sobering analysis of our financials, it became clear that several actions are necessary. Chief among these actions are to leave the evening college degree program to find a p/t job. This is for several reasons. The sky high cost of gas compounded by the distance of my commute. The decline in my salary level versus last year and costs associated with providing for the Divine Ms. N.
Clouds may have silver linings but, I do not see them at this moment.

Divine Ms. N Update

She was very well behaved as we toured Dream Street 2003 for three hours yesterday. I had her in our new Snugli backpack. She seemed to really enjoy the experience. Other than some minor discomfort in my hips. The backpack was a success. The storage pocket was a real bonus. Just had to remember what the Scouts taught me about backpacking. i.e. leaning forward a bit as I was ascending staircases.

Update on the divine Ms.N

Natalie is regressing. She wakes several times in the pm. Last night was the worst in a long time. 1am, 4am,6am. She is back up to 4 + bottles of formula/day. This is in addition to partial bottles of formula.
We understand this happens when she focusing on developing a new skill. It looks like this might be crawling or walking. She is readily sitting up on her own now. Surprised mom the other morning when she was found sitting upright in her crib.

Holy cow! That's some food!

Well, my lunch is usually leftovers or, a frozen meal. Today was a frozen meal...Swanson's Hungry-Man Sports Grill - Pulled pork sandwich and cheese fries. Not only was it a bellybusting 1lb of food but, also an artery clogging 44 grams of fat! Whoa! It tasted fine (for fake barbecue) and filled me up well. Use at your own risk!

More bad news about the Triad

As if losing manufacturing jobs wasn't bad enough.. now there are census numbers to prove that the young and educated move out of the Triad

So, now that the medium has become well entrenched in the minds of even the most casual user I've put togther a lil' Flash for my employer to promote a special event. Holiday of Lights at the North Carolina Zoo
