FahrenHYPE 9/11 - Reviewed

Ok, maybe I'm among the last to watch and comment on the cinemagraphic response to the liberal, milllionaire, moviemaker's trash. But, I did pre-order FahrenHYPE 9/11 from Overstock.com and received the movie upon it's release as promised. (I do have a family and a job..you know!)

Bottom line, this film delivers. For one, it gives those who Moore excerpted comments (and nearly libeled) a forum to be heard.

Moore's movie clearly attempted to sell some Rivisionist History (e.g. transforming an op/ed piece into a newspaper headline and other factual travisties) that attempts to skew perception of 9/11 actions and facts. For example: Moore states in his film that the Saudi Royal Family was allowed to leave the U.S. before airtravel was offically resumed post 9/11. In fact, the Saudis left when air travel resumed on 9/13. (Source: 9/11 Commission Report).

When the truth is compared with what Moore's film is telling he looks more like a cheerleader for the Taliban. Don't buy what Michael Moore is selling it's untrue & un-American.

Your Rights Eroding: FISA, COINTELPRO,POSSE COMITATUS, and the Consitution

While watching a program on the Free Speech Network "Terrorisim & the Constitution" I got a lot of information on some acronyms that I didn't know about which directly impact all of our rights.

FISA- The Foreign Intelligence surveillance Act (link to ACLU) which operates a court in secrecy and permits the government to "delay notice" of the fact that you were under surveillance.

POSSE COMITATUS Act - In short, it's supposed to limit the military from performing police actions. Modified in the 80's to help with the "War on Drugs". Let's just say it's doing less today of what it was originally intended. To understand it further just read this.

COINTELPRO - Started in the 60's & 70's according to the TV program by the FBI and local police forces. A counter-intelligence program which was designed to observe and disrupt the operation of political/anti-war activists organizations. Complete details here. There is evidence that local police forces are again using cointelpro under the veil of counterterrorism.

Kansas City infoZine - .50 Caliber Sniper Rifle Reduction Act

I don't own a single gun. But, I do believe in the legal citizen's right to own some guns. This .50 caliber is one mother of a gun for sure! Should it be banned? Looks like they're trying! Better stock up!
I admit that it would be handy to have one of these in the event something catastrophic happended so I could pick off some zombies from the city looking to loot those of us in the country.
