Google Wave first impressions

With my first Google Wave under my belt, I see a lot of potential.Embedding maps, polls and interactive editing are just a few of the features. With the addition of Google Gears to your machine, some drag and drop of local files into the Wave becomes available. But, as with any Google service I see the need for a Google Account as a hindrance to widespread, public adoption of the Wave service.
